Algonkian Regional Park

The Algonkian Regional Park project consisted of a new proposed roadway widening and realignment along the existing sharp horizontal curve on Fairway Drive, adjacent to the recreation vehicle parking area. DMY was hired to perform advanced hand auger borings at several locations used to sample the subgrade soils for Standard Proctor testing. The purpose of these studies was to evaluate the subsurface soil conditions within the proposed widened roadway alignment and to provide recommendations pertaining to the geotechnical aspects of the project.
